A hassle free alternative to concrete or garden slabs, this portabase provides garden buildings with a strong, sturdy level base.
Manufactured using pressure treated timber, this base offers protection against wood rot and decay. Metal spikes that have undergone galvanization, a process that involves applying a zinc coating to prevent rusting, ensure this portabase frame remains firm to the ground. The robust metal spikes also allow the base to level a gradient of up to 65mm. This portabase fits most Mercia 8x6ft shed and garden building offerings. | Additional Assembly Information | Installation included. This installation service is supplied by Mercia Garden Products. The team will be in contact to ensure a successful and smooth installation process. Please note that prior to the delivery and installation of your building you must prepare a suitable base. We recommend a base that is firm, solid, level and no smaller than the size of your chosen product. We also recommend that a 2-foot clearance gap is left around all sides of the building for maintaining the upkeep of the timbers. This installation service is not available in Ireland. This product must be treated with a wood preservative and waterproof top coat once installed and annually thereafter. |
