This lime free washed quartzite grit is ideal for adding to composts, ponds and aquatic planting, alpines and rock gardens and for improving heavy soils.

Perfect for adding to a scree garden to replace the subsoil and create a layer that the topsoil will sit on.
Gravel can also be used as mulch to top-dress borders, potted plants and gravel hanging baskets to minimalise water loss and prevent weeds germinating.
